Some of the most persuasive choices, strategies, or moves that I made to achieve my goals in the project was the decision to record it as a video inside of minecraft. This shaped how I had to approach writing and creating the video through the key fact that it is a more personal medium where the author directly speaks to you and minecraft is a relatable game that pretty much everyone knows about, most sold game ever, and that also makes it more personal with the personal builds in game.
In the persuasion effect project, by choosing to create a video rather than the traditional essay, it caused me to make choices like writing in a more freeform style and allowing myself to speak my own thoughts while talking into my microphone and showing off the build that I created in minecraft. It also caused me to bring in loads of images and other stuff into my project to better visually demonstrate what I was talking about while talking about it.
The kind of action that my project seeks to create is positive work towards reducing littering. I think that most people who exist already know littering is bad, but they may not know the full extent of littering and its effects on the world. The goal is to show them this world filled with litter and create a call to action to make them realize that they should help in preventing littering as well by first convincing them that this is a credible point and that they should try helping in the action.
